Beryl Thorne Beryl Thorne (Human) Character Minor Characters (TOR) and Tyrodall Tyrodall (Devaronian) Character Minor Characters (TOR) , two smugglers Smuggler Organization Communities , came to Taris in search of ancient relics to take offworld and sell. Thorne signed a supply Supplier Miscellaneous Roles contract with the Resettlement Authority Taris Resettlement Authority Organization Planetary and Sector to cover up their illegal activities and made a deal with Ovold Ovold (Zabrak) Character Minor Characters (TOR) , a core-drilling engineer Engineer Miscellaneous Roles who secretly began digging up the relics. As part of her contract, she set up her office at the Republic Galactic Republic Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations 's largest supply depot near the Olaris spaceport, managing daily operations with a help of her terminally malfunctioning droid assistant Argo Argo (AR-G0) (PO12 Protocol Droid) Character Minor Characters (TOR) . Tyrodall was responsible for supply runs - both goods for the Authority and relics disguised as core samples for their smuggling business. Thorne planned to smuggle them off-world to give to the descendants of the inhabitants of Taris who died during the destruction of the planet Destruction of Taris Event Jedi Civil War 300 years ago - for a small finder's fee, while Tyrodall thought he would make a fortune selling the relics on the Imperial Reconstitued Sith Empire Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations Market.
